Aalto vase 120 mm bubble glass clear
A timeless classic meets a fresh expression in the Aalto 120 mm vase in bubble glass. Hand made and mouth blown at the Iittala glass factory, each vase has its own unique character. The soft bubble texture is created using a traditional technique where soda is applied to the hot glass before new layers are added. As the soda releases gas, delicate air bubbles become captured within the form, giving the surface a lively, light-catching quality. Compact and beautifully balanced, the 120 mm vase is ideal for small arrangements or as a decorative object on its own. It highlights the flowing, organic lines of Alvar Aalto’s original design in a new, contemporary way. A thoughtful design gift and a timeless piece to treasure.
